Behavioural Training

Living with a dog that's reactive, unpredictable, or difficult to manage in everyday situations is genuinely exhausting. Whether it's aggression towards other dogs, pulling and lunging on the lead, destructive behaviour at home, or an inability to settle — these issues don't just affect your dog's quality of life, they affect yours too. These behaviours are almost always symptoms of something deeper — and addressing them without understanding what's driving them rarely leads to lasting change.

Our approach focuses on identifying the underlying cause and putting in place a clear, structured plan that creates real change. Rather than managing symptoms, we work to build more appropriate responses over time — helping your dog understand what's expected and giving you the tools and confidence to reinforce that consistently in everyday life.

Behavioural training may focus on areas such as:

  • Drive fulfilment and appropriate outlets

  • Emotional regulation and impulse control

  • Clear communication and handler confidence

  • Environmental management and trigger awareness

  • Replacement behaviours for conflict situations

  • Structured decompression and settling

Each plan is tailored to the individual dog — considering temperament, drive, environment, and your goals as a handler.

Obedience Training

If your dog knows the commands but chooses when to listen, performs well at home but falls apart in the real world, or responds reliably until something more interesting appears—this isn't about disobedience or lack of ability. It's about a foundation that hasn't been built to hold up under pressure. These are intelligent, high-drive dogs that are more than capable of learning — but they need more than repetition and rewards to become truly reliable.

Real obedience isn't just about communication — it's about contextual awareness. It's about building a shared language that holds up not just in controlled environments, but in the chaos of everyday life. We focus on developing clarity of cues, genuine responsiveness, and structured progression so your dog understands that the rules don't change just because the environment does. The result is a dog you can depend on — whether on a busy street, at the training ground, or in any situation where reliability actually matters.

Obedience training may focus on areas such as:

  • Foundation obedience and cue clarity

  • Lead handling and positional awareness

  • Duration, distance, and distraction work

  • Real-world obedience in varied environments

  • On and off lead reliability

  • Contextual awareness and proofing

Training is tailored to the individual dog, ensuring progress remains structured, purposeful, and aligned with your long-term goals.

Puppy Training

The early months with a working breed puppy are exciting — but they can also feel overwhelming. The energy, the mouthing, the selective hearing, the testing of every boundary you try to set. Working breed puppies are wired differently — more drive, more intelligence, more independence — and without the right foundations in place early, small issues can quickly develop into bigger challenges that are far harder to address later on.

We help you navigate those critical early stages with clarity and confidence — building engagement, structure, and the kind of early habits that make everything that follows easier. From early engagement and focus work to appropriate play and early drive development, puppy training with us is about setting your dog up for a successful future, not just surviving the first few months.

Puppy training may focus on areas such as:

  • Early engagement and focus work

  • Socialisation and environmental confidence

  • Appropriate boundaries and impulse control

  • Foundation obedience and cue introduction

  • Appropriate play and early drive development

  • Crate training and settling behaviours

Each programme is tailored to your puppy's age, breed, temperament, and your long-term goals.

Advanced Training

You've put the work in, your dog has solid foundations, and you've built a good working relationship — but you're ready for more. Whether you're preparing for sport, working towards off-lead reliability in genuinely demanding environments, or looking for the kind of precision and consistency that separates a well-trained dog from an exceptional one, reaching that next level requires a different approach. Advanced work exposes gaps that weren't visible at a lower level, and progress rarely comes without structured, purposeful guidance.

Advanced training is designed for handlers who are serious about development and want to push beyond the basics. We work with you and your dog to refine what you've built into something you can genuinely depend on — building precision, focus, and reliability in the environments and situations where it matters most.

Advanced training may focus on areas such as:

  • High-level obedience and precision

  • Off-lead reliability in demanding environments

  • Drive development and arousal management

  • Sport and performance preparation

  • Proofing under high distraction and pressure

  • Handler development and timing

Advanced training is assessed on an individual basis, ensuring the programme is structured to match your dog's current level and your performance goals.

Our Pricing Approach

Our training services are tailored to the individual dog, handler, and goals involved. As a result, pricing reflects the scope, complexity, and level of support required, rather than a fixed menu of sessions.

All training begins with an initial assessment, which helps us understand your dog, your objectives, and the challenges at hand. From there, we recommend a bespoke training package designed to deliver clear, measurable progress and long-term results.

While some clients choose individual sessions, most benefit from structured packages that provide continuity, progression, and ongoing support. This approach ensures training remains focused, consistent, and aligned with the outcomes you are working towards.

Full pricing is discussed following the assessment, with clarity and transparency at every stage.
